Securing and remediating contaminated sites constitutes a key area of activity at PORR Umwelttechnik. Contaminations at brownfield sites often represent a complex challenge and require intensive preparation. This begins with assessing potential hazards and conducting alternative design analyses as a basis for planning the remediation measures. A combination of various economical and ecological measures is frequently recommended to treat contaminated protected goods.
We offer not only pretreatment, removal and disposal services, but other measures as well, depending on individual conditions and requirements. These include sealing off the site with retaining walls, immobilisation, microbiological or physiochemical waste treatment, groundwater purification, soil vapour extraction and the use of the Biopuster®-process.
