Environmental clean-up
Environmentally friendly rehabilitation is a question of planning
The securing and rehabilitation of contaminated sites are key areas of focus for PORR environmental engineering. Contamination at brownfield sites often presents a complex challenge and requires intensive preparation. This begins with risk assessments and variant studies as a basis for rehabilitation planning. A combination of various economic and ecological measures is often recommended for the treatment of contaminated protected materials.
Depending on the specific circumstances and requirements, we offer not only pre-treatment, clearance and disposal, but also additional measures. These include, for example, enclosure with cut-off walls, immobilisation, microbiological or chemical-physical waste treatment, groundwater purification, soil vapour extraction as well as the use of the Biopuster® process. Our experts will be happy to consult you on the selection of suitable processes.
